Examples of our work
Sustainability reporting. Goodpoint
produced the GRI-inspired (Global Reporting Initiative)
sustainability report for Apoteket and the sustainability
parts of the 2006 Annual Report. Goodpoint
has also assessed and reported the direct environmental
impacts of the Swedish EPA. Both of these clients are
keen to communicate clearly on important issues and on
improvement work within the organisations.
Social demands for procurement. The responsibility
of a business or organisation stretches wider than its
own operations. Goodpoint has therefore formulated
a code of conduct for Stockholm County Council for existing
and future suppliers describing which demands to place
in the procurement process with regards to social responsibility.
Building a certifiable Environmental Management
System. Goodpoint has supported Capio
St Görans hospital in Stockholm in the development
and implementation of an Environmental Management System
complying with ISO 14001. Our roles were to act as project
manager, to educate internal auditors and managers about
environmental legislation and management and to educate
pharmaceutical staff about the environmental impact of
pharmaceuticals. We have helped many administrative boards,
municipalities and businesses to implement environmental
and quality management systems.
Chemical product assessments. Goodpoint has been working with Essve Produkter, a supplier
to the construction industry, since 1995. We have helped
the company to assess chemical products such as glues
and sealants. We regularly develop construction product
declaration and product datasheets for all types of products.
Criteria for chemical use. Goodpoint
has been commissioned by Svensk Mjölk, the Swedish
Dairy Association, to develop criteria for the assessment
of chemical products used in milk production on farms
and in the food and drink industry. The criteria include
demands regarding environmental and health impacts and
the products function. Goodpoint are
also responsible for assessment of new products that suppliers
seek to be approved.
Knowledge objectives for consumers. The
Swedish government and parliament have set sustainability
objectives for consumers. An important part of this
process is to define what knowledge consumers need in
order to contribute to sustainable consumption.
Konsumentverket, The Swedish Consumer Agency, has therefore
commissioned Goodpoint to propose an appropriate
knowledge objective relating to the environment. We work
with natural, behavioural and social scientists in a specially
convened discussion forum.
A healthy concept for sustainable growth uniting core
values and economics.
